Jeremy Kozman is the director of the Hilliard Darby Marching Band, as well as directing the symphonic band, wind ensemble, and big band in Darby.  Although he does not compose music, he is one of the best music analyzers I know, and he uses his incredible knowledge of music theory to help him analyze.  When he was in school, he played the trumpet, eventually earning a top seat in his high school band.  He has marched in the OSU Marching Band, and has even worked with some of the music professors over at Akron to play in brass quintets and such.  Though, despite his background as a trumpet performer, he has worked with many students in the past on their compositions.
